The whole development process of this project has been a sort of a slow in getting started- taking an idea and actually making it a work is a lot of fun and it’s also a lot of work. No to worries though, things are about to get rolling here pretty quick. I think its time that I spell out a little more about where we are at and what needs to be done to get this show on the road.

Project #1 Printed So-Cal BMX Directory publication (where to go ride BMX) for distribution to bicycle retailers, sporting goods retailers, school’s, youth groups, churches, etc, etc. The idea behind this BMX directory will be to provide a visual reference of where to going BMX riding in Southern California. The majority of the youth in the San Fernando Valley are unaware of how to get started in the sport of BMX. There are currently several places to go riding around the Los Angeles and Ventura counties however most people don’t have any idea where to go.

I’m currently looking for some one to help assist with the layout and design of the So-Cal BMX Directory. If you’re a graphic designer and have Adobe PDF output capabilities and want t help out please contact me.

Project # 2 Ticket to Ride BMX Program – New Rider orientation.
Back in the early days of BMX some of the local riders used to host Beginner Days at the local BMX tracks, today most of the tracks host BMX Training Clinics, what ever happened to the Beginner programs?

Its time to get back on track with the BMX beginner days at the track or skate parks. Ticket to Ride BMX program is pretty basic and will go down like this; Run on a fixed monthly schedule, the same day and time every month. By having a fixed monthly schedule this should really help develop this program over time. The goal is help new riders discover the fun of BMX riding.
